My friend had to stay on liquids for a while, don't remember how long but this is a question for the doctor who is doing the surgery. Not the general public, you can't relate what is happening to you by their experiences. Take it to your professional and play it safe.

This is entirely serious and don't even worry about anyone else, after surgery you will have to folow a strict diet and this is so serious. Your questions now, should be already explained to you by your doc. Call his nurse-ask!

I would say a big bite of an McDonalds Cheese burger, that would be it. Ask your doctor, my guess is about three days after but, check with them.
