Aside from animals being tested , there are also lists of compassionate companies for clothing, handbags, shoes etc .. too long to print but look at these websites..they have a wealth of information which has been authenticated to be accurate ............... http://www.peta.org/living/alt4.asp ..................... http://www.caringconsumer.com/pdfs/companiesDontTest.pdf ............... http://www.caringconsumer.com/pdfs/companiesDoTest.pdf ................ they also list charities that do not test and list companies which contain NO animal byproducts ...sorry but list above in not up to date... And yes it is a good thing to know .. and be able to avoid non compassionate companies .. especially cleaning products .. cosmetics

Even if there is no testing done on animals, many of the listed products contain fats rendered from animals. So,when applying makeup or lipstick, keep in mind that Spot the dog is gracing your face in all likelihood..

Maybe , but not necessarily. To find out for certain, go to the American Antivivisection Society site or PCRM or PETA. They have complete lists.

I'd rather have them test stuff on animals then die due to product failure from a faulty modeling method.
