Well, since this was the year of "7/7/07", why not a Monte Carlo theme? Have card games, dice games...and so on. You can get themed cocktail favors from most gift/party stores. Maybe even offer silly little prizes for the winners of the various games.
You cake could be heart shaped (King of Hearts)! lol
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Have a very Happy Birthday and a wonderful party!

What about a colour party. I can always remember my parents going to a purple party in the 70/80 's and i can still remember the purple lipstick my mum wore. everyone just has to wear outfits, accessories and make up in one colour. it makes it easy for everyone to find an outfit because the more crazy the theme the harder it is and it can put some people off. it's quite cool when the whole party is dressed in one colour. have fun anyway.

Superheroes! Everyone can come as their favorite superhero, costumes are easy and inexpensive to make if you are creative. You could even serve hero related food like Wonder Woman Wienies or Wolverine's Spicy Wings, Make little signs out of paper, and set them next to the platters of food.

I hope you have a great birthday!

Have an 80's party. It's easy! girls in leg warmers, tights, fishnets, bangles and bright colors(think Flashdance). Guys in old izod shirts, sweat bands, adidas suits, breakdancing. It'll be fun!!

Or try a rock star theme since that's the new trend. Wild hair colors, mohawks, ripped shirts, leather, metal chains...u get the idea, FUN!!!!!
