The Birdie Song! Always a hit with kids... and embarassing parents!
And without wanting to sound sarcastic, The Annual 2003 by Ministry of Sound is probably the cheesiest dance album to date - its real kids stuff! (seriously!)
Other than that, Disney do lots of complimations

you could get a CD pretty inexpensively of kids party music, but if you want to down load some, i use the "allmusic.com" website, search for CDs, then download the songs there... there's one we use a with the younger kids when we're doing silly things that has songs like "On Top of Spagetti" on it, cracks them up. it's called "Fun for Kids Party Pack"

Tommy James and the Shondells, Mony, Mony (Billy Idol's version's okay) Beatles, Birthday (off the White Album) or Yellow Submarine (off Revolver) or Octopus's Garden (off Abbey Road) Queen, Crazy Little Thing Called Love (off the Game, or Greatest Hits) Eurythmics, Right by Your Side, (off Greatest Hits) Beach Boys, Fun, Fun, Fun (off Endless Summer), BarbaraAnn (ditto) Buddy Holly, That'll be the Day, or It's So Easy, or Rave On, or Peggy Sue, Tommy Roe, Dizzy; these songs might be from their parent's CD collections.
If you're looking for kid friendly CD's for them, I suggest the soundtrack to HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, any Click5 album, Hannah Montana, The Cheetah Girls, KidzBop, B5, (I think they're P. Diddy's boyband)That ought to be enough for a couple almost hours of party.

Five is too old for Barney...but they may really enjoy Walt Disney songs. Target, Nobles Books and other joints with good childrens sections will have CD's and colletions.
Good Luck.
