Alright, I'm wondering if Ketchup is Vegan because I've heard tons of people say (mainly youtube & myspace, losers that post blogs there because they have no life) that ketchups 'natural flavoring' is beef, which I don't really believe. Also, I've heard tons of people say it's completely Veggie. So, who is correct??

Does Heinz ketchup contain animal products?
Heinz Ketchup has never contained any animal products.
In addition, the FDA has set a standard of identity for ketchup that does not permit the use of any animal products. Any deviation from this standard of identity would mean that the product could no longer be called ketchup nor sold legally under the name ketchup.

Ketchup has beef, is true. Not all of the brand have this added but most do. Check your labels and read info online, the best is to buy vegetarian ketchup, if there is vegerian ketchup...there must be a weird reason why.
Did you also know that Jelly or any gummy bear or candie contain animals tissues? which means that they either have blood, tissue, etc....but vegetarian ones as this for me is really gross!! and the process is just disgusting!

Yes, ketchup is vegan, as far as i know. Well i'd check the ingredients to make sure!!

Hunts makes a great vegan ketchup . it costs a little more but there is one . good luck

Ketchup is made from TOMATOES. Where the beef "natural flavoring" come from?? People put ketchup on their burgers to give it added taste, why add more beef to beef

Ketchup is made from tomatoes. Read the label. Federal regulations make them list all ingredients.
