I had preop EKG and they found this. I am having total hip replacements, 3 months apart. Should I see a cardiologist? Should I be worried? My PCP and Surgeon says not.

Right bundle branch block (RBBB), associated with sinus bradycardia, is a matter of serious concern. This is a highly practical question, and requires experience backed answer.
It's mandatory to have your cardiac status evaluated, however the of tests will be guided by your cardiologist, as you have undergone total hip plasty.
Kindly ensure that he is a experienced cardiology.

most likely nothing to worry about. a BBB is simply a "short" in one of the smaller electrical circuits in the heart. These are asymptomatic and only evident on an ekg. Other circuits take over for the faulty one. sinus bradycardia simply means that your heart beat at that moment was slower than 60 beats per minute. That may be perfectly normal for you. 60-100 beats is used as a rough guideline for how fast an adults heart should beat but there are always variables to that norm. If your PCP and surgeon are not concerned then you should just rest easy. Certainly let them know if you start having any cardica symptoms though such as chest pain shortness of breath, unexplained back or shoulder pain etc. best of luck with your sugeries!

RBBB is typically nothing to worry about. The timing of the signal to your right ventricle (the side of your heart that pumps blood to your lungs for oxygenation) is delayed a bit, but the signal gets through just fine, conducting through the muscle.

LBBBs, a blockage in signal to the left ventricle (the main pump of the heart), are often associated with other heart problems and are therefore taken much more seriously.

So if you haven't had any other issues with your heart, there isn't much to be concerned about.
