Anyone know the best park/beach in Chicago near Lake Michigan to throw a party/BBQ?

I recommend going further north. My personal favorite is Foster beach (Foster Avenue). Always decent people and not so overcrowded. Have fun!!!

North Avenue beach, there is a nice food place and rest rooms there.
