I know it was a stupid move, but now recently I am scared of what may happen. The partner I chose said they did not have anything wrong with them, because they had to go to surgery and was tested at the same time, and even offered proof to me.
But yet I have a feeling that I need to be tested, what should I do?

Always get tested, listen to your gut & practice safe sex the next time, it weighs a little less heavy on your mind

It's always a good idea NOT to have unprotected sex - and I see from the pronoun game that it was probably another guy. Nothing wrong with that - but if you were a receptive anal partner, it's a risk to be avoided outside a committed, very trusting monogamous relationship.

For now, don't freak out. If it was within the last 72 hours, you may want to talk to your doc about HIV post-exposure prophylaxis. Not cheap, but worth it. Otherwise, use condoms and get tested in six weeks, then in three months, then in six months. After six months, you are very likely to be all clear.

Very few things will show up unless they are looking for something specific. There are hundreds of STD's so you are pretty much wasting your time unless you have some symptoms, in which case you need to see Doc immediately. Go ahead and get the shot for HPV when you see the Doc too.
