you could do tropical fruit and dip, like pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, etc... and the dip is made with marshmallow cream. It's really good and colorful.

You could also do kabobs, like terriaki & pineapple chicken, that's kinda tropical too. Maybe like some virgin pina colodas.

Snackwise how about Hawaiian mini-pizzas with Canadian bacon & pineapple. Maybe some coconut and banana chips. And some healthy fruit drinks.

Games? Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit? or
Say three things about yourself that noone knows, 2 true, one false but plausible. Make others guess the false one. Great for getting to know one another.
Just for fun - if there are boys invited - make them wear grass skirts and do the hula - best gets prize.

Do as they do in Hawaii...Have lei making session. Having the girls make their owns floral leis is really fun. Also...how about a DVD for learning the hula and they can be paired off by a name draw, do a routine/talent show and be voted on for a prize.

well on my 13th bday party we played this balloon game. were we wrote something down on a peice of paper that had to do with the bday girl... ex: whats her favorite color?
if they got it wrong on the back of the paper was a concequence... ex: put your feet in a bowl of ice for 10 seconds and sing happy bday with crackers in your mouth...
then after you write what you had to on a peice of paper, you put the paper in the balloon and blow it up. then you have the kids pick a random balloon and they have to sit on it and pop it, read the paper and do what they have to do.

OH! but if they get it right, the bday girl gets to pick whoever she wants to do the concequence.. its really fun!!!
