Good question.... I don't know but I would have to say yes based on..... my reasoning. Simply because for some reason I am led to believe that a lot of men may think of vegetarianism infringing on their manlyness in some distorted way.... but I can't say for sure.

I think that's true... there are more veggie girls than guys, based upon the people I know.

Many girls become vegetarians because they worry about the feelings of the animals. Also, some women take it as a badge of honor to be a vegetarian.

Guys, in general, aren't as concerned about animal welfare and for the most part aren't worried about how people perceive them.

Based on the statistics I've read it's about 2/3 women, but that is just for the US I believe.

I'd be inclined to think so..thats only based on the amount of females vs males on here though. That could be biased though due to other factors =)

I never heard that before,but its probably true,considering that girls are more self conscious about their physique than guys.I think they're more likely to go vegan to be thin/slim.Its more healthy..on that note,I think women are more picky about what they eat.I know I am!

if you go to the message boards of living and raw foods, everyone is a raw vegan and mostly guys!

i think that there are more girls than boys cuz the boys like to have meat cuz it tastes good?
