I love them. I also like pickles on a stick. Basically anything on a stick I will eat.

I think corndogs should be the national food item.

A corn dog is a hot dog dipped in a cornmeal batter, then deep fried.

I don't know where you can get kosher hot dogs, but Morning Star Farm has a frozen, meatless variety that tastes awesome!

A corndog is simply a hotdog on a stick rolled in a cornmeal batter and then deep fried.
If you want it to be Kosher, simply find a brand or vendor that serves Kosher hotdogs, or make your own using Kosher hotdogs (such as Hebrew National).

In the U.S. a company called S'Better Farms makes Kosher corn dogs....Here is a link to them:

Feel safe in knowing whether Kosher or not, there is no dogmeat in your hot dog. For more info about the origin of the "hot dog", read here:

Hope I helped, good luck!

No, it is not true. The outer coating is made of corn made into meal.

I don't see how corndogs can be Kosher, since milk is used in the cornmeal and there is a restriction in the Kosher laws which states you can't cook meat in milk.

No, dog meat is NOT Kosher, but there is no dog meat in hot dogs.

The Corn dog is a hot dog coated in cornbread batter and deep fried in hot oil, although some are baked. Almost all corn dogs are served on wooden sticks, although the original corn dog was not.

you might have to make your own kosher ones. just get a corn dog recipe and make sure to buy kosher dogs (like hebrew national). you can get kosher dogs at any regular grocery store.

A corndog is a hotdog dipped in a batter made of cornmeal, flour, buttermilk and eggs and deep fried. Check your local kosher grocery store for corndogs.

No, it's not true.

While there is no DOG in corndogs, there is indeed CORN in the outer coating.

Hebrew National are kosher hot dogs, and my favoriate brand out there. You can make your own corndogs using them, and my super-dee-duper recipe!

Sugar Pie's Corndogs

2 lbs. hot dogs
1 Tbsp. flour
2 ¼ cups Bisquik
5 Tbsp. yellow corn meal
1 tsp. onion powder
2 eggs
1½ cups milk

Prepare hot dogs by laying on paper towels and rolling to dry them. Dust lightly w/ 1 Tbsp. flour, rolling hot dogs to coat evenly. Shake off excess flour. Insert bamboo skewers half-way into each hot dog.

Whisk all batter ingredients together in a tall pitcher (this facilitates coating).

Dip floured hot dogs into batter, sealing at stick. Fry 2-3 at a time in 375ºF oil (or Fry Daddy). Rotate regularly to evenly brown, or submerge w/ spider for a minute or so. Overall cooking time is generally under 2 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on a wire rack placed over a cookie sheet.

kosher corn dogs exist because I've seen them in my local supermarket.
basically find a kosher market and buy the frozen kind.
or find a non-kosher market in a Jewish neighborhood and it'll have a kosher section...with frozen corndogs

I certainly am not a JW, but I am a born again Spirit filled Christian. So many debate this whole issue all the time, and no one would have to even discuss it , if they stayed in the word and read it all. Showing line upon line, scripture upon scripture precept upon precept just what is with every scripture, It all fits together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. No contradictions. But you must put the old and new testaments together to see the full story. The Bible is very clear about the trinity, tho that word is never used, same with the word rapture. But, there are other words in Hebrew that descirbe those meanings. In several places in the Bible, it says that Jesus was God, and the Holy Spirit was also God. And we know the Father is God. Godhead is a title. BUt, that is not their names. Yahweh is Father of the Godhead. Yashus is the son. and He is also of the Godhead. Rosch HaKodesh is the name of the Holy Spirit who is also of the Godhead. Blessed Trinity, oh yes. There are of thee seperate personalities with each different job roles given. But, all are God and all are equal. Without Yahweh we would have no Yashus. Without Yashua dying on the cross, we would have no Rosch HaKodesh. And , in 2 John 7-12, we are told that if someone comes to bring God to us, without the full teachings of Yashua, Jesus Christ, they are part of the antichrist and we arent even to wish them well. When they do not accept Yashua as Savior and Lord they will be operating under the spirit of anti christ, whether they know it or not. If one wants to change , and you can then speak , fine. But, we arent to go there and debate with them about things they dont want, its open rebellion. Even Yahweh doesnt insist they believe in and accept Yashua as Lord and Savior. This is the only one true God, in three, trinity. All others claiming to be a god, are only false god, and will be dealt with. We can only live and speak the truth without fear or compromise, love and forgive them, and pray more will come to His truths before it is too late. Love is the answer. and prayer still works. Great question. Full Gospel Shirley

Grape Nuts have no grapes and no nuts, but corndogs should be all corn meal and a hot dog. That's the paradox of mankind.
