Smoking no, I have never had the urge to smoke. I cannot stand the smell, but more importantly I cannot fathom harming my body by using cigarettes. With all the known health issues that accompany smoking, there is no way I would ever choose to smoke. For the most part I do not drink. The only time I ever drink(and it is a small amount), is at gatherings. The last time I drank was last year(March of 09), when I had a few sips of alcohol at a wedding I was a guest at. Other than a few sips on occasions, I choose not to drink. Drinking does not interest me. I do not use illicit drugs, and never have. Like smoking I prefer not to put harmful substances in my body. I use medicinal drugs occasionally. However, I am not a big fan of over using medicinal drugs(such as popping an aspirin every time I have a headache), or running to the doc for a prescription every time I have a sniffle. I typically will wait out medical issues that really do not need medications(headaches, etc), or try other non medicinal remedies, such as humidifiers for colds, sleep schedules for insomnia, etc. I have found that when I really need medication for my health it usually works better/faster/etc, since my body is not used to taking it(ex- a half an aspirin will do away with a persistent headache, instead of two pills that are recommended).

Yes, some vegans and vegetarians smoke. While some people go veg. for health reasons, other do it strictly to avoid animal cruelty. I know some who smoked before they went veg., and found that giving up eating meat was not nearly as difficult as giving up smoking.

I used to smoke, but for the new year I decided to quit. Once I quit and felt better, I wanted to improve everything, so I stopped drinking soda, coffee, and chewing gum!

The only thing I can't stop is drinking Merlot!

My friend is a vegetarian and once she is done eating, she smokes weed, but that's about it.

No clue. But it is bad to smoke in so many ways. IT will mess up your body even if you do it once.
