does this mean if i am in a serious relationship i will spread it to them or only when having an outbreak. i am so worried about this as i have never had anal sex before and i have no idea how this could have happened..i always use condoms during intercourse. please can anyone help with my question

As far as I know this isn't an STD that you have to worry about. Get them treated though, it's easy

You don't "have" to tell future partners about it, but you really should... Genitial warts can be passed along easily. If you are serious enough to have sex with a person, then you should be serious enough to let that person know the truth. One out of four people have some form of warts (the most common form are cold sores), so chances are there are more people that do have them. You may never know, the person that you are with may have them, and it won't be much of an issue. But you have to talk about it with them.

Genital warts are extremely contagious! You must tell anyone who you have had sex with immediately. This is something that can be transmitted back and forth and will have to be burned off.
Some cases must be retreated over and over. This is serious stuff you are dealing with.

you should always be honest to your sexual partners. while the warts may be treated, it is nearly impossible to completely be rid of them. You could potentially infect another partner. That is why you should use protection. (sorry I couldnt resist)
