As far as phones, yeah, I think so. I'd rather have a red phone than black.

But as far as M&Ms...depends on the kind of M&M. Peanut is best. Almond is also good.

Plain is gross.

But best of all is Snickers...mmmm...Snickers.

Chocolate alone is faintly gross. But with caramel and peanuts and nougat...mmmm...

Chocolate in my opinion isn't really better in color. The color is just food coloring, which dosn't change the taste of the chocolate. However, colored chocolate is often lower quality chocolate, because cheap milk chocolate is easier to dye than the higher quality dark stuff. So, do you value looks over flavor, or the other way around?

Depends on what “better” is for you. Colored chocolate may be nicer looking. But unless you are using an odd coloring agent it tastes the same as plain white chocolate. (Assuming that is what it is made from, but White chocolate is easy to color for obvious reasons.) White chocolate (and therefore colored chocolate made from white chocolate) tastes different than dark chocolate as it contains neither chocolate liquor nor cocoa solids.

Note in taste tests people say colored foods taste different, but can’t tell the difference blindfolded. So sight does alter the perception of taste.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Types_of_chocolate for an article on the types of chocolate.

No, chocolate is not chocolate unless it is smooth, chocolate-y brown. Unless it's white chocolate and that's a whole different taste...but it's delicious!

What color? Milk, dark, white (which isn't chocolate, but milk fat and cocoa butter, eww.) I s'pose it doesn't make a difference.
