I tried to help you when you last posted this question. I'm sorry I wasn't of any help. Aren't you putting more importance on the cake, because of your sister's illness? Will the child really care? How about going to a cake decorating place and getting train novelties to put on cupcakes? You can't find the pan in Australia, so go to plan 2. How about decorating cookies shaped like trains? She just wants to have hers child's birthday be special. I'm sure you will come up with other ideas, I'm sorry but my children are grown adults, all my pans are gone. Do a web search for ' train birthday ideas ' You are trying so hard, I hope someone can give you some more help. You are a special sister.

best thing I can advise is find a simple picture of train enlarge it to the size you need. Make a simple sheet cake and use the picture as a template and cut out the shape of the train. It seems to be the simplest solution since you can' t get the pan.

eBay hasnt helped? no web site has helped? thats quite odd... i suggest trying eBay or amazon or a cake web site:

http://www.trainparty.com/traincakepans.html

if you can buy one... and the cake sticks to the pan... line the pan with cooking spray/shortening AND flour... this should help a bit...
