there is skin hanging out [[brown colored]] and it is strechy and the other side is normal. it is just one side that has skin hanging out. the skin dangles out of my vagina and does not look normal. what do i do?

I also have the extra skin hanging down and it has been that way for over 12 years. My doctor told me what it is called. He said it is very common and nothing to worry about as long as there is no pain. He also said that I could have it removed very easily if I wanted. The problem with having it cut off is that there will be a good chance of infection so He though I should just leave it alone. and I have for the last 12 years and by the way in all that time not one guy ever noticed it or asked about it. So guys don't care that it is there.

Thats funny b/c I seen some girls in porno with that same thing and I always assumed that like really whorish girls just have vaginas that look like that b.c. of abuse,So I told my best friend about it, and she said well thats how mine looks,and she is a virgin LOL,guess I was wrong! I think its probably not normal, i suggest you go see a gyn doctor, the extra skin could possibly be surgically removed if it bothers you, and it should be checked by a doctor who would have the right answers you need for your genital questions, i would be slightly concerned. Has the skin always been hanging there ? Has the colored ever changed? I advise you to seek professional advise , Best Wishes

I used to think that this was a "problem" that required surgery or something, but it's really just cosmetic. My ob/gyn did not think it was anything too unusual.
