I like Tofutti. It is really light and fluffy, kinda like frozen whipped cream...

Depends. Some kinds are thin and chalky, with a weird gummy texture.
But some are actually really good. I like the Soy Delicious/Soy Decadent kind. I wouldn't compare it to regular ice cream, though...you'll just be disappointed.
Think of it as an alternative, rather than a substitute. As a substitute, it's often disappointing. But as an alternative, it's not too bad.

never had the tofu...but I've tried the soy delicious ice cream and it is good! Also any ice cream sanwiches are awesome....of course if you have been brought up with the milk variety them you will have to let your taste buds get use to the soy version...but all in all it is really good!

If you mean soy based ice creams, then they are good! I've had Soy Delicious neopolitan ice cream before, and it is seriously just as good as milk-based ice cream. (to me anyways). I could only tell that it was made with soy milk a little bit. I really like it though, even more than regular ice cream.

You probably mean soy based ice cream. They all taste a little different, so you have to try different brands and flavors.
Some have vanilla I like and others don't.
They generally don't have as much sugar or cream thickness in them, but it really depends on the brand.

eek. never had the tofu ice cream. the concept is frightening to me.
i have had the rice dream 'frozen dessert' as well as the soy delicious type. i absolutely LOVE the soy delicious fudege browine & almond. it's like an org**m neatly packaged in a cardboard pint. yum!
the rice dream dessert is not bad - it's a tad bland.

is there even a tofu ice cream??? well if there was such a thing like that i would think it is good. i would compare it to tofu!

Go for rice dream or something else. Tofu should be kept in stir fry.

Tofutti Cuties are just like ice cream sandwiches, and Soy Delicious is pretty good too... it is creamy, and light...
