Can anyone suggest a recipe for a flaming layered shot? Basically I am looking to entertain a few people at a party, make the shot looks nice and then set it on fire. Looking for something thats cool and tasty.

Try a Dr. Pepper.

You'll need:
3/4 shot of Amaretto Almond Liqueur
1/4 shot of 151 Rum
1/2 glass of beer

Here's what you do:
In a shot glass, pour the Amaretto first, then top it with the 151.
Place the shot glass inside a bigger glass. Fill the bigger glass with the beer, up to the level of the shot glass.

Light it, let it burn for a moment, blow it out, slam it. It's delicious, tastes just like the soda. Haven't had one in years, since the only bar that even made them quit doing so. Some fire code thing, I guess! Just be careful with flaming alcohol!

only one I can think of off hand that is layered is a flaming Dr. Pepper.

take a glass and fill it with enough beer to cover a shot glass (that's important.. if it doesn't cover the shot then you get a blue flame to the face) then in a shot glass poor 3/4+ amaretto and top with either PGA or Turkey 101. Light, drop and drink.. (tilt the glass when you drop it in to help prevent splashing). It tastes like a Dr. Pepper.. it is meant to be finished without stopping after the shot is dropped (another reason to use just enough beer to cover the shot glass)

I like Rumplemintz but im not sure what would work well to layer it with. But you can light it on fire and when you take the shot the peppermint really cools it off. Its a good straight shot to take.

Try a seperator. Use a spoon to slowly put in Baily's Irish Cream, then Kahlua then find a high octane vodka on top. To burn well you may have to slip a little everclear (or maybe try a tad of 151) to get the fire going on the Vodka.

go to www.drinknation.com. They have a whole list of flaming drinks. Just be really careful and responsible. It might be fun but can be dangerous.
