WHERE is the actual randomized clinical trial proving LDL causes CHD????

Don't give me the CRAP about statins

Researchers have already admitted.

"THERE IS NO EVIDENCE LDL REDUCTION EXPLAINS ANY MORTALITY REDUCTION OBSERVED IN STATIN THERAPY"

Hulten E et el. Effect of Early and Intensive Statin Therapy On Acute Coronary Syndrome: A Meta-analysis of Randomized Clinical Trials;Archives of Internal Medicine, 2006 166: 1814 - 1821

Statins have MANY MANY effects other than mere cholesterol lowering and statins it has been shown statins work VIA

ANTI INFLAMMATION
ANTI SPASM
ANTI CLOTTING
ANTI OXIDANT
IMPROVING NITIRC OXIDE LEVELS IN ARTERIES
ARTERY DILATION

Statins have been effective REGARDLESS OF DEGREE OF LDL LOWERING IF ANY AT ALL.

WHERE I ask is the evidence that LDL causes CHD????

All this idea is is a MYTH

So far NO ONE HAS SHOWN IT - IT DOES NOT EXIST

CAD not CHD, is exacerbated, not caused by high levels of LDL, inflammation is the primary cause. Micro tears occur in the arterial walls as a result of high blood pressure, these tears then become inflammed and chronic inflammation makes the spots on the arterial wall sticky, and the next most sticky substance is the LDL which will indeed adhere in these areas of damage and cause obstruction which leads to heart attack. The entire process is called Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). They know that the LDL plays a role, because in autopsy after autopsy, the obstructing "plaques" that cause fatal heart attacks are analyzed and prove to be composed of LDL. Lowering LDL and raising HDL, is then hoped to help prevent, not the cause of the inflammation in those vessels, but rather to prevent the reponse to that inflammation.

You keep arguing that the benefit of the statins is not due to lowering LDL, but what about Zetia? It is not a statin and it still lowered mortality by lowering LDL.

Autopsy studies have shown NO CORRELATION BETWEEN DEGREE OF BLOOD CHOLESTEROL AND EXTENT OF ATHEROSCLEROSIS

http://www.ravnskov.nu/myth2.htm

The small amount of fats that are found in the atherosclerotic plaque are 80 % UNsaturated

FURTHERMORE

ATHEROSCLEROSIS DOES NOT EVEN CONTAIN THAT MUCH CHOLESTEROL

IT HAS MANY MANY COMPNOMNETS THE MOST OF WHICH IS HARD FIBROUS SCAR TISSUE AND SMOOTH MUSCLE CELLS 90 %

It's been shown to you time & time again. You just choose to ignore it.

Kind of like you keep ignoring the community guidelines.

Kind of like how you keep forgetting the spell checker.

It's not "COMPNOMNETS", it's "components".,
