I would make them cupcakes that look like baseballs and have cold drinks for them.

Take a very large bowl, line it with slices of pound cake. Then start scooping in different flavors of ice cream until it fills to the rim. Now empty various bottles of ice cream topping over a section at a time. Cover the whole thing with canned whipped cream and add cherries and sprinkles. Each kid gets a long spoon (like an ice tea spoon) and digs in! The size of the bowl depends on the amount of kids. But by the time they get halfway down it is a gooy, yummy mess. Of course it is best to do outdoors and on a paper covered table. Our kids always loved it.

SEW is right about the ice cream cone cupcakes. Kids love them because they can eat the whole thing and it's so much easier for them since there is no paper to peel off. Frost them white and decorate with icing gel for the baseball stitches and you've got a hit!

Angel Food Cake Mix
Ice Cream Cones ( the kind with the flat bottom that stand up by themselves).
Frosting
Mix Cake per directions.. fill Cones up 3/4 Full... bake
Frost with frosting and if you can make the 7 min frosting that is even better...

That was a bush league thing and probably trying to show his authority by tossing you. What you said was grounds for dismissal under unsportsmanlike conduct but wasn't enough for me to toss you. I'm an umpire, and I would have given you a warning first and not just tossed you. By his remark to you, he was just looking for any response from you to toss you out of the game. What you said may in hind site not have been wrong but got under his skin and he was looking for some reason to give you the heav-ho. Sorry but you gave it to him and he tossed you. To be an umpire you have to have thick skin but when you cross the line it's a warning, then see ya; from me that is. He must of been having a bad game and this was his way of getting even in his eyes. To bad; especially for the kids.

Kids all love that kinda stuff, and there are a lot of different choices on stufff to do once they are there!
