If your blood cholesterol is already high (more than 240 mg/dl), or if you have high blood pressure or diabetes, your daily limit is 200 mg.
One large egg has about 210 mg of cholesterol - almost three-quarters of the 300-mg daily limit set by the American Heart Association (AHA)

If you current cholestrol levels are in the healthy range, then an egg each day won't have any serious implications on your health. However, if you have high blood cholestrol, then consider cutting down, or just eating the white.
However, note that an egg in itself is very nutritious. The egg and white combined form a complete protein, which one reason why eggs are good for you, so keep in mind that if you eat only one part of it and not the other, you won't be getting that benefit.
Lastly, it is true that eggs are high in cholestrol. But, the interesting thing that most of it is good cholestrol. However, it doesn't mean that it won't affect cholestrol levels if you have too many. High blood cholestrol may lead to cadiovascular problems in the long run.

I'll be honest, I've heard a lot of bad things about eggs. They are very high in cholesterol. My mom is a waitress (as am I) at a mainly breakfast restaurant, and there are some customers who come in and eat 2 or 3 eggs a DAY. Sure, a lot of them are elderly, but within the past year, three of them have died of cardiovascular problems, and another one died IN THE PARKING LOT in of a heart attack. I've heard that it is unhealthy to eat more than two eggs a week.
Personally, I feel that eggs get a "good" rap because of the farming industry. The farming industry controls a lot of how our country looks at food ... the USDA may make the food pyramid, but not without a LOT of backing by farmers. I know this may seem unrelated, but I think a lot of us should take a look at foods that are supposedly good for us, such as "the incredible edible egg" and look at what is really going on.

Having that many servings of eggs are fine. Just balance it out with some whole grain toast, hash browns that are not fried etc. It's when you load up the eggs with all the other high fat yet delicious foods (like bacon) can it become a problem. Also, try doing 2 whole eggs and one egg white. Add some onions green pepper mushrooms etc. Just make an attempt to balance things out and you will be fine.

Too many eggs can eventually result in high cholesterol so if you like eggs and eat alot of them, try eating just the "whites" of the eggs as the cholesterol is found in the yellow yolk of the egg. They also have cholesterol free eggs out now. Or try not to have eggs so often and have a variety of other things in place of eggs.

High Cholesterol which can lead to heart problems. Try to cut back to twice a week and use egg substitute or whites the other days.

It depends on your age and weight. If you over weight and over 40 then you need to watch how many eggs you consume.
Too many eggs could lead to High Cholesterol, which would in turn clog your arteries and lead to coronary problem.
If you exercise regularly, and eat an otherwise healthy diet, rich in veggies and fruits, whole grains, lean meat, you should be OK.

Eggs are cholesterol BOMBS, literally; if you insist on eating eggs you'd better buy a truckload of cucumbers, as cucumbers break through cholesterol deposits.

there is nothing wrong with eating eggs. I eat a egg every morning for breakfast. I've never had any problems and I've been healthier from eating them...and don't worry about the high colesteral. I'm sure those same people who said eggs have high colesteral don't mind shoving in the Big Macs.
