Although the possibility of "strange evil artwork" is interesting, I think the very few pedophile priests are just sick and/or evil pedophiles who happen to be priests.
This "strange evil artwork" has not influenced the great majority of priests and lay believers to any real extent.
With love in Christ.

Catholic priests are exposed to the same promiscuity the rest of us are exposed to. Priests watch television, read newspapers and magazines, go to the movies, use the Internet, and are bombarded by the same poor-taste advertising techniques like the rest of us.
It would not surprise me to find that society's twisted view of matters concerning illicit subjects, such as sex, has much to do with corrupting some of the clergy.

Why on the planet could "precise believers" go away the church? If the church got here out the following day and modified their lengthy held perspectives at the gay act I would have an understanding of your proposal, however they have not. The gay act stays "objectively disordered" and each and every Catholic adding monks that experience a equal-intercourse orientation are referred to as to reside chaste lives. It is handiest inside the bonds of matrimony that a guy and a girl can also be sexually energetic if it is open to existence. If this instructing modified Catholics could go away in droves, the movements of those "a few" is an offense to the doctrine.

I'm a little skeptical of the claims about Erspamser's work -- it seems too much to me like looking at clouds and seeing shapes of animals, etc.
I absolutely agree with Reisman and what she says about the "New Church". It isn't a coincidence that abuse skyrocketed after Vatican II and the sexual revolution:

and that some of the biggest names in "liturgical renewal" have been accused of sexual abuse:
FR. DALE FUSHEK: Co-founder of "Life Teen", a youth ministry well-know for Masses rife with liturgical abuse. Accused of indecent exposure, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and sexually assaulting five minors and two young adult men.
