I consider being here on Y!A as part of my spiritual study. I use it as an opportunity to ask spiritual questions and to help others better understand spiritual and religious concepts, using the knowledge and experience that I have gained from studying spirituality for 18 years.

Spirituality is a topic that I have a passion for. I live and breathe it. Being here is satsang for me; however, I do have equal time reading spiritual books. Really, I never stop focus on it throughout the day. I try to think of my guru constantly in whatever I do. I devote my work in service to Her. I try to be the best person I can be towards others. I try to imbide Amma's teachings in all that i do daily. It never stops. Spirituality is not something that I only think about for an hour each day. It is a way of life.

Thanks for asking this question. There was a time when I did abandon my faith systems in order to gain points on yahoo answers, and I paid a price at the expense of a loved one. It didn't make me feel too proud of myself. My integrity also took a hit because my competitive nature wanted me to go for points at the expense of my faith. I now am back in the groove with God. My spirituality emcompasses my entire life, including when to know when to back down from exercises such as this. I used to easily do 1000 points on a weekly basis with YA, now I fully concentrate my energies towards my spiritual side. I will not lose focus again because I left myself wide open to negativity and a loss of who I truly was, and it reflected upon my relationship with a loved one. I now have regained a lost footing in that my relationship with God supercedes my entire livelihood, and everything else takes care of itself. I'm back...

More time in spiritual study, mainly because I need to grow in spirit and the other reason is because if I study Thee Word then I will be equiped when I'm answering the questions, then I just won't answer out of my head. The other reason also is because the Bible says, "medidate on the word", and in that way the Word will "abide in me and the Lord will abide in me" and everything I ask for in Jesus' name will be done.

I can't really answer that. I'm not religious, so any time spent here would be more. On the other hand, I am spiritual (humanist) but that's something you live, not study.
