Try doing this at the onset of a headache... have a glass of Gatorade (or some electrolyte replacement sport drink like it), grab an ice pack, go lay down in a dark and quiet room for a while. This should do the trick if it is a mild to moderate headache. To prevent headaches you could consider looking into Chiropractic care and acupuncture. Good luck and I hope this helps!

A couple of things: Unblock your nostrils and see that enough air is getting to the lungs. Breathe normally and DO NOT PANIC! Suck cold water up through your nostrils and spit out of your mouth. Find source of headache - secondary smoke is a culprit. If you smoke - stop smoking. If you drink coffee - stop drinking. How long ago in hours, since sleeping? Are you regular? Have you been to the loo? Ask yourself and answer all of these questions, your headache will go given time. If you can, try to sleep it off. Some headaches can wake you up so go see a doctor about them if they occur on a regular basis. Maybe an addiction towards something else might trigger the headache so its necessary to find out what. Good luck!

depends what's caused your headache.
if it's a hangover, then have plenty of water, and eat something filling like a big sandwich or a round of toast.
if you've got a cold, then drink plenty of water, have some honey and lemon, and take lots of rest.
if you don't know, then just try and ride it out.
best not to take pills if you can get to the root of the problem. however, if the headache is really bad, then perhaps taking just a paracetemol tablet will take the edge off and you can go about your daily life.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

A good walk outside, gets the oxygen flowing through your body.

Failing that some bed rest may help - you could be getting a headache because you're burning yourself out a bit.

Get a hammer, put one hand on the counter, and have the hammer in dominant hand.

Raise hand with the hammer, and bring down with fierce velocity squarely onto your planted hand.

Your headache should be gone soon after that.
