Aptitude question?

Question

There is 2 bottle.(3 litres and 5 litres). U have to fill 4 litre in any one of that bottles.How u do this

Answer 1

1) First fill the 3 litre bottle full and then empty that into the 5 litre bottle. That leaves still 2 litres empty space in that bottle.

2) Again take the full 3 litres bottle and fill the empty space of the 5 litre bottle. That means 1 litre is left in the 3 litre bottle.

3) Now empty the 5 liter bottle and fill the 1 litre from the 3 litre bottle.

4) Fill the 3 litre bottle fully and transfer that to the 5 litre bottle. We have 4 litres in that bottle now.

1.take 3lt bottle full & empty it into the 5lt one which leaves 2lt space
2.repeat step 1& this leaves 1lt water in the 3lt bottle
3.now empty the 5lt bottle and pour the 1lt water from the 3lt bottle
4.repeat step 1
5.you see that 4lt of water is left in the 5lt bottle
