Ok i usually refer to my book for this but this dream i feel deserved special attention..
I was in my car in a small car park somewhere near a big field, the was a party across the street i was suppose to be at with all my friends...it was raining...it was dark, there were a few street lights on...there was a spirit present, being very mischievous...it started to toy with my car and mess with me by moving it forward a bit, i got out to see and then it tossed my bag out and took off down the field, i ran after my car in the rain and somehow jumped this huge hedge to grab onto the car but i landed in the mud..i gave up and walked back to find my bag but it was gone with all my things in...i was really really upset and this strange woman started talking to me and looking at me funny..i went inside the house to tell everyone, they were really concerned until they came outside with me to see that the car and my bag were still there, they all thought i was crazy and wouldn't believe me...

This is a very unusual dream and interesting dream. It is definitely what you call "a series of unfortunate events." The dream it self has many elements played into it creating a dark and somber atmosphere which signifies the dream to an your life as an analogy. The figures in your dream are symbols which represents certain ideas. The big field is telling you about your surroundings and options in your life. That you have a wide world open to you. OK, so now you have to worry about the spirit or the party with your friends. This part of the dream is telling you about your struggle in real life. something (the spirit) is playing tricks on you that would allow others to think that you are crazy and this spirit is also taking you away from whats important to you. You have to realize the importance, reality from fiction.The woman represents your fear, it is a mirror reflection of what you have become in your dream.

Some things in your dream are not clear, but the party represents a time of celebration. Rain during a time dark time can represent trials and tribulation. This spirit represents something demonic which has been unleashed into your life to test you and purify an area of your life. The car represents your "vehicle" or method by which you are trying to get to a certain destination or goal in life. God has allowed this spirit to come into your life in order to help you let go of certain things which you are trying to hold on to. That's why when the car went rolling forward you went after it. The Lord has allowed a trial to come into your life so He can show you the true you and where you are spiritually, by allowing you to lose some things which you think are important to you. The hedge represents divine protection by which God has kept you. The huge mud pit you fell in represents being covered in the issues of the world and sin.. The strange woman you met in your dream represents the voice of reason or "wisdom". She looks at you funny because you have not received what God is trying to say to you. Finally, people will not be able to identify with what God is taking you through, that's why they will think you are crazy. People are only looking on the outside, but God is doing a work on the inside of you.

To add to the previous interpretation I think the fact that your car & bag was taken/tossed could mean that there are parts of your life, current situation, which you feel may not be under control. There's no one you can ask for help because deep down you feel that they won't believe/ trust or be able to help you.
