hello.i'm 16 years old and i think that i have a crush on a 20 year old guy whose from my church group. he's really nice and cool. how do i get his attention?!?!? i don't wanna do anything drastic or crazy.
and how can you tell infatuation from love??
we're going out tommorrow with a big group. what should i do!!!

Make it a point to talk to him and ask him questions. Sit in his general vicinity. Casually touch him when you're talking. If he's interested, he'll likely reciprocate.
If you have to ask if it is infatuation or love, it is infatuation.

You should watch him and find things about him that you don't like so that you will see that he is not so special after all. Then you can concentrate on having someone closer to your age.
Just remember that he farts and burps, picks his nose when he thinks no one is looking and his feet stink when he takes off his shoes just like anyone else.
If you try to have a thing with him, you will just make a big problem for him if he starts to like you because he could get into big trouble because of his age and also if he gets strong feelings for you, he could feel a lot of pain in his heart for you because knows that it would be wrong for him to have a thing with you.
If you really like him, don't rush things. When you are 20 and he is 24, you can see him all you want and things might work out then.

He might not find you mature enough. I mean, im 20 and i couldnt see me having any kinda relationship with a 16 year old. period. Plus the way girls scream rape these days. And if you decided to get intimate..can you say JAILBAIT! Yeah. all that's totally illegal and if its found out or if you get prego anyways, he gets in major trouble.
Just get over it, and find some kids a lil younger to crush on.

Maybe you can try talking to him more often and give him your phone number or email address. Its so easy to talk heart to heart on IM or email so if you get him to feel comfortable around you he wont be shocked if you tell him you have feelings for him. Try to make it seem less serious like " I think that you're really awesome and I wanna get to know you better" Guys hate being cornered so this kinda statement will make him more at ease with you. you are infatuated. cant just fall in love that fast. but just talk to him, show a little interest, don't try to be really loud or obnoxious because it will get his attention, but in a bad way. Smile at him, talk to him, and be yourself. He's 20 so try to act a bit more mature.

Love is an action not a feeling and it take TIME to grow.
You shouldnt be messing with 20 year olds if your 16. 20 year olds want one thing. sex.

You will make a fool of yourself if you make any advances towards him. He is too old to be interested in a child of your age. Wait a few years and you will be mature enough for him.

I know you're going to church and probably practice abstinance, but It's most likely illegal for him to do anything physical with you. You should probably look for guys closer your age.

well when you with him dont go and get nervous. trust me with our relax the air is ten chinless free. talk about what your goals make sure to listen to him so he know you are interested in his life. really start of as friend then build from there
