EVERY branch drugs tests you prior and you will be given surprize drug tests during an enlistment. You will also be asked when you enlist if you have done any kind of drugs. So if you think that you can smoke anything while your in good luck. If you pop on a drug test you will get time in the brig and a nice ol dishonorable discharge.

YES / ALL Branches get drug tested starting at MEPS / then random testing during your enlistment / Random selection by SSN or Commander directed / Primary purpose for drug testing is Deterrence (you never know when your number will get picked - so don't gamble on using - you will lose) / All Military personnel get observed while providing a urine sample for testing

All of them and multiple times before you enter and ALL the time while you are on active duty. I know that I got tested twice in one week on more than a few occassions and it is a random process. Don't risk it. If your are a druggie, save yourself the hassle of getting kicked out and find a job that lets you do your habit.

You have to be drug tested to work at Wal-mart for gods sake!

Rae NYPD chick:

Your pretty ignorant. I was over there twice and not once given a drug to take, besides Motrin for a twisted knee.

Yes. Repeatedly. You are tested as you enlist... and then you're subject to regular and random testing all during your enlistment.
