Praise God... Ecclesiastes 12:13 says “The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.”

Life is meant to be happy, relaxed, fulfilling, enjoyable and full of contentment. Unfortunately most people find this elusive and look for ways to make all this happen. They seek it in money, work, success, marriage and many other ways. Usually it is still elusive so they choose a philosophy or a way of living - and still find it elusive. Then, some realise that human nature cannot attain what they are looking apart from a change from within - can only happen in Christ.

When Jesus Christ was on earth he stated his purpose in living this way: “For this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.” (John 18:37) This was the purpose around which his activities were molded. He recommended God’s will to all with whom he came in contact who were humble and desirous of learning the right purpose in life. To live up to Jesus’ standard is not easy, but each individual has the responsibility to do what he can in praising God in such a way that others will learn God’s will. God is not unreasonable; he accepts our sincere efforts to live up to his requirements.

Life is two fold in purpose in my view. It is designed for mankind to experience the great limitlessness of the love of God and for God to clearly establish and justify the fact that it is not good for mankind to be alone without him.
Life is the greatest gift that God gave to mankind for in it mankind can choose to be a pure son [offspring] of God and spend eternity in the limitless eternal contentment and joy of being loved and able to return this love.
Do have a great day, smile and if you have not, consider this concept and do choose to be a true child of God. You only need to ask God to show you the way in you heart and He will show it to you my friend.

In the beginning we were spirits and as spirits we could not experience the things of the physical world, or be able to name those things we could create with our imaginations therefore God created us houses so our spirit could taste, feel and love. If we are found worthy we will be given new bodies (houses) that never die, but can taste, and feel. Our spirit will become alive and we would be able to create whatsoever we could imagine.
As spirits we got bored.

You where created for one purpose. To love and be love by the one and true God. The beginning and the End, the Alpha, and Omega, The Prince of Peace. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The one who sent his son to die so that you might have eternal life, and that you might know him as your savior.

Well I think we have the christian point of view covered agnosium. So here is a more simple point of view. What do you want your life to mean? What makes you want to keep living?
Others can try to force their views of what they think, need or desire their life to mean but do not make the mistake of making their meaning yours. Do what you need to do to make your life have meaning to you (as long as its legal ;).
May you find your own true path,
R

Meaning and purpose and self worth are all related. We have real meaning when we fulfill our real purpose and that gives our life real worth.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (20th century philosopher, mathematician and atheist)
There is no such thing as meaning or purpose unless there is a God. Without God, all we can do is chase good feelings. In other words, you live in order to chase meaningless good feelings. Without God, all of our noble ideas about love and compassion and justice and mercy, etc. are just chasing our own person good feelings.
But if we are created beings, then our great need for real meaning and real purpose must have been placed in our brains by our Creator in order to point us to seek Him.

Life is a test. So many problems will be presented to you. They way you overcome those tests show your personality and your strengths. It shows how powerful your soul is.
And remember... There is somebody watching, and if he fancies your personality and your soul's strength you will have a happy eternal life.

"Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy." Life's simple purpose is to seek true happiness. Not the happiness of the material or woldly possesions, but yet happiness of one's soul.
