What if Jesus were an earthly father to an earthly child, how do you think he would raise that child? What type of disciplinary methods do you think he would use? Do you think he would ever lose his temper, say or do things he would regret?

Excellent question!
I feel he would teach the love of right doing, instead of fear of wrong doing. Being pure compassion, his actions would be always from unconditional love, therefore, no wrong actions. A consistantly patient waiting, redirecting, encouraging love....which fosters trust in the Universe. He would teach that our own fear, which produces hate, is the true enemy, not other people. He would make older sisters let younger sisters listen to freakin Roger Miller if they wanted to, and yell at them for stealing baby sisters twinkies......(sorry again for that)
Peace

if he was an earthly father the was that jesus would teach his child would like any father because he is just a human being he would make the same errors/mistakes as any human would. but whether u learn from that mistake or not whose know.... since we are on the subject off religions my believes is that every religions is the same, but with different concepts of teaching u look at buddahism budda wasn't a god but he was enlightened and he did amzing things and he teaches others to follow his foot step. catholic is pretty much the same but the concepts is a little bit different is that they believe in the virgin marry and god as the sole creator of the universe. but if u break it down than isn't that like buddahism because god didn't teach people anything and he enlightened somone on erath as jesus to preach his stuffs...

the way God is doing right now, disciplining whom he loves, like the way the Don Bosco preventive system works. Jesus NEVER lost his temper except when His heavenly Father was mocked by men or evil brought upon His name by the actions of man.

We've had a pretty long timeout, don't you think ? Anyone of those sins could have instantly condemned the devil. We humans have it easy.

He did no longer replace the regulation, He fulfilled it, significant to word on that. the way we combat sin is via going to Jesus. in case you will be able to desire to be disciplined you pass to Jesus. What did Jesus might desire to assert approximately toddlers? enable the toddlers come to me. Disciplining turns into much less and much less needed once you strengthen your new child interior the procedures of the Lord.

"Don't make me tell your grandfather what you have done." Sorry, couldn't resist....

I suppose Jesus would have been patient, nurturing, and in his carpenter shop letting the mother raise the child for the most part! I suppose he would have been consistent, structured in his discipline... fair, kind, honest...

Lose his temper? Hmmmm... if an injustice had been done, I suppose so... regret? Nah... he probably would think things through before he "reacted" in anger.

No.

I think that Jesus would have been the perfect father that we all at times wish we had. I am sure that He would love the child the sam way that He loved us. With all that He is. I am sure that there would have been a time out.

Hello dear!

According to the finction created, he would be strict and as long as the kid would blindly follow his orders everything would be fine, otherwise, he would use his belt, as he did in the temple!

He would probably set strict morals and forgive his kids when they do something wrong. I think he would use tone of voice to convey anger but hopfully he wouldn't hit the kids!
