It's titled "Ivy Queen of the sea" down on the left side. On the right side is the signature GRANT (all upper case) with 26. It's of a 3masted ship in a storm.. although it's very dark.. you can see a definite sunlight trying to peek through.. it makes you look into sunlight without really seeing the sun.. it also seems to 'look out' at you.. It's an oil painting... 26 must be the year 1926 but since it was given to my long time grandmother.. when she was young.. the year must be nearly the end of his paintings. It's probably a Grant from England or from the USA.. Thanks for the help.. I appreciate it.. soooooo much.. I need new wheels.. nope not a car but wheels for my wheelchair.. (bet I got you)lol.

Ok... there are bunches of 'Grant-s'..and most likely it's not a woman (forgive me...I'm a woman and I wouldn't paint ships!:) ....we know it's not Duncan, so what do we have that's appropriate in the given time frame?
