You can buy traveler's checks from almost any bank or credit union. Also, Wal-mart customer service desks sell them too.
I know the big banks like Wachovia and Bank of America sell Traveler's Express and you can even buy the cards now that work like a traveler's check and are replaced if lost of stolen.

You can buy travelers checks at any bank/financial institution that you have an open account. They cost around $4.00. If you go to the circle K you can get a cheaper price of maybe $2.50 and a coca-cola!

Most financial institutions will issue traveler's cheques. Check with larger banks (Citibank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc.) first, because they might not require you to have an account.

At your bank. There is usually a charge for them.. but its minimal. Like 2.00 for a book of checks. Also, if you dont have a home bank that you use, you can get them from just about any bank, but you'll need to take cash to purchase them. Good Luck.

In your bank. You can tell your bank that you want a travellers check made in your name and in what currency.

Any bank or credit union but if you go to one where you have an account or belong they might be free. They are free at AAA offices too, at least they use to be.
