whats some issues with good friends becoming a couple? like, making the transition from good friends to a couple? How awkward is it? this girl i like has liked me for 2 years, which is as long as i've know her. i just got out of a 2.5 year relationship with another girl 8 weeks ago and told my friend i liked her 2 weeks ago and we're going on 2 dates this weekend. shes 18, i'm 19 if that helps. i'm worried about making the transition.

If it's a transition, then it probably won't work out. It should be a natural progression that you both want to happen. If you really have known each other for 2 years, then it should be very comfortable, not something hard to do.

Well, one of my best friends and I became a couple for a couple of months even though we were best of friends since we were toddlers. I am glad we were together. When we did broke up because we couldn't stop arguing that he made me promise never to end the friendship. He didn't stop talking me until I agreed. I agreed only to keep him quiet. That happened about thirteen years ago. He had other girlfriends and I vice versa. All of his girls knew me, and the same vice versa.

I never regretted the experienced, and I am glad we did have the time when we could. Last year was the hardest time for me. I was sitting down crying nonstop with his mother watching him being buried.
