There's this girl which I really like, and I want to ask her out I know she likes me too but the problem i have it's Age difference, She's 16 and i'm 18 which it isn't much of a difference but I'm afraid of what people might think! they might say it's wrong or something cuz i'm also going to college and she's in high school!
I mean as long as sexual relations go I'm willing to wait for her until she 18 or until she's ready I don't care I just want to be with her that's all she has an amazing personality, So can you people let me know about this age difference? and Is it safe to go out with her even though our age is different?
Actually someone told me earlier that if I even touch her I would go to jail, But like I said I'm willing to wait for her!

Seeing as you two are almost close in age I would say that there isn't a problem. Now if you were five years older that would have proven to be a big problem.
Since you're 18, you can still legally get in trouble even if you have her consent. If you two do start dating ask her how her parents would feel about the age difference and that you'll be in college.
If need be go as far as meeting the parents and explain what kind of intentions you have with their daughter.
If the parents aren't bothered by the fact you're older then go for it. It's their opinion that really matters.

Two years isn't much but it is when she's not of legal age like you. If you do go out and decide to have sex and her parents find out they can have you arrested for stachatory rape. I know your willing to wait but 2 years is a long time and it will be difficult especially if she wants to have sex before then. What are you going to do then? Just be aware of the risks.

Be careful, you are considered a adult in most states and she is under 18 a minor, your intent to date her can cause a
problem with parents, so be cautious and use wisdom in this matter. and the answer is yes , you could have some leagal problems if you have a relationship it depends on so many variables just be wise in all that you do.....

go for it, especially if you are willing to wait (and you must) until she is 18. For the record, my brother was 21 and his girlfriend was 16. They waited, got married and are still married 24 year later...

Alright..look at it like this....its just a number?i mean seriously if you have feelings for someone and you love them it wont matter.Because like i said,its just a number.See i had your problem too cuz my guys 17 and I'm 14..most people think I'm older though.but i broke it off with my guy for the same reason then later we talked it over and i realized it doesn't matter.If you have feelings for this girl don't break it off.& a guy thats willing to wait for the girl he loves..wow...dont we all wish we had a guy like that.Dont listen to what other people say,they'll just pressure you til you do something that you wont wanna do.Stay with her! =]

yeah it matters. it's illegal. and if she was mad she could scream rape and you'd be in jail so fast you couldnt even think about what rape meant.
