before the meal is the best time for fruit. it awakens your palates. kinda opens your tastes to many different areas. sweet sour mild strong. when the meal follows your taste will be searching for the same thing and will find either/or in the entrees. a good after dinner thing. is a nice cheese. it calms the palate and the thicknes will remove the taste of the entrees. hence the saying that a cheese will cleanse the palate

There's not a best time to eat fruits. You can it fruits when ever. Before,After,and In Between meals.

I believe it's really your own personal taste. You can't go wrong eating fruits. They all are so good for you. If you like fruits, and everyone should, as they are vital in your diet, eat your fruit before your meal, and then have one later before your next meal. And, whenever you feel that hunger pain, have another then. I go throughout the day pinching on grapes, love them! I even will put them in a freezer bag and freeze them, then eat them frozen, they are so good that way. I do blueberries the same way and toss them into my cereal. I eat lots of fruit as I'm always making myself a power shake drink and I usually will toss in 3 different fruits; 1/2 banana, 4 strawberries, and 4 cantaloupe chunks. Then I'll change my fruits for the next day using blueberries, the other half of the banana and a peach or apple. Very tasty! So enjoy your fruits.

After meals are better because when u eat the fruits before meals,and i bet u could not take another bite on your meal.

I don't think it matter when you eat them but it's good to eat them when ever!

It is a dieting tip to eat an apple or orange 30 minutes or so before going to where a big meal is offered, so you won't consume so much.

Combining the right fruits and vegs and carbs and protiens can optimize your energy and make you feel fuller as well.

It is also said to eat orange slices after a meal to clean the pallet and breath. That's why most chinese resturant places offer them with your check.

You should eat fruit before the meal because you want it to start digesting before your meal. If you eat the meal first then the fruit will sit there and rot by the time the meal gets digested... and you'll get gas and you'll be bloated... I would eat fruit as a snack instead....
