So you want to measure your height without using a measuring tape or a ruler? Okay...
Stand against a wall and use a pencil to draw a line on it whiel the pencil is on your head. Then take out a dollar bill (or any US currency). American money is 6 inches (or within a few millimeters either way), so just use that to find out how tall you are--it will give you a pretty good estimate, anyway!

Just like they measure kids at home since the beginning of time.
Stand with your back flat to the wall, have somebody put something flat (a ruler?) on the top of your head and mark where that ruler touches the wall.
Step away and measure from the floor to the mark.

Well, if you don't have a ruler or a measuring tape for like in the shop, like for wood working it may be hard, but stand up to a wall, and stick a pencil on the top of your head, then put a little mark on the wall, and measure the height, once done, erase the pencil mark lightly. Wah-lah you now have your height.

Forget za standing up against da vall. You vill just have to be usink da measuring taper any vay.
Having your Uncle building za vessel a little taller than you are und of za diameter so that you can be stand up inside uff it. Put a connection near the bottom and using a flexible tube and fittings , attach a very accurate, low- pressure gage and place the gage with the face up and flat on the ground at the bottom of and outside of the tank.
Put some bricks into your pockets, take off your hat and climb into the tank. Have your Uncle start filling the tank with water. Make sure you have a swimmer's snorkle tube in your mouth so you can breathe. When the water reaches the very top of your head, have your Uncle write down the numbers shown on the pressure gage. When you get out you can calculate your height from the pressure reading that was on the gage.
One pound (pound per square inch) of pressure is equivalent to a depth of water 2.31 feet. So whatever the reading was on the gage, multiply that by 2.31 and dot vill be your height mit-out usink any uff za measurink tapes.

Have a friend or family member help you.
Stand against a wall or doorframe with your feet flat on the floor and your back straight. Have a friend put a book on top of your head making sure the edge of the book is straight against the wall. Walk out from under the book, measure to the edge of the book.

stand against a door frame flat footed and mark it on the wood.
You do really need a tape to measure this though.
