If you want to know ask, however if you are shy and can't then perhaps this test will help. Would you say that of all your male friends he acts differently around you then any of the others (unless all your guy friends have crushes on you) or if you know how this guy acts around other girls he is friends with, is it different then when he is around you, especially if he is standoffish around other girls and is more friendly around you that can be a dead giveaway, do you feel like you are the only person he is interested being around when he is around you

When he's around you all the time, and makes any reason at all to be around you. He might give you little things, touch you slightly, flirt, give you that eye ... those kinds of things.

gonna stare/look at ye nearly always if ye in sight, he's gonna remember small details about ye, like what ye ordered or ate the other day for example...
gonna enjoy your company, gonna be shy-ish of you/around you...
try asking him what he likes in a girl also, looks/personality
