Deep in the ground there is pockets of water that seep there threw out the years filling open spaces with water .In some arias you can get fresh clean drinking water without it being filtered because when it seeps through the earth it filters it automatically . But unfortunately allot of the wells today are contaminated with man made chemicals that seep into the wells .

Well water is water that is underground and accessed by digging a hole in the ground and pumping it out.
Some wells are only a few feet deep and others are over 300 feet deep. It depends on the ground water level in your area.
