I'm looking for a name to register my puppy. and example would be a dog I had named Little Bit Of the Mountain and we called her Little Bit.
The names I"m considering are Putter, Cooper, or Porter.
Any ideas of what I could make the formal name??

I'm guessing the call names you are looking at are the ones you've mentioned.
Now, I don't know what kind of dog this is or anything but I do know that with horses they usually use some of both the parents name, but not always. And I don't know what they are anyway.
So, with what you've given me, the formal name could be (pick your favoritee golfer)'s Putter. Cooper's (pick your favorit profession like, say cowboy/girl) or even say Cooper's Porter or Porter's Cooper. Or considering what a cooper used to be, (He he he:)) Cooper's Barrel.

More information is needed.
Will you have to use the breeders's kennel name?
do you know the registered names of the dam and sire?
What breed?
Do you have to wark with a theme (ie my dogs name had to be the Kennel name and then start with "N")?
