Even though my guy is no longer a toddler, he's a preschooler, he's 4. He'll slowly open my bedroom door, walk quietly over to my side of the bed, and tap my side, and start to whisper, "Momma, it's not dark anymore, it's time to get up." This will get a little louder, after a few times. He'll also, sometimes, crawl into bed with with me, (because Daddy's already left for work) and start to run his fingers through my hair. Then he'll say, "Momma, It's time to be awake now." Followed by, "Can I have some Breakfast?" Gotta Love The Little Guys & Girls!! They are so precious and grow up soo fast!! Our oldest who is 3 now, doesnt wake us up, we wake up to either the TV being turned on or his Thomas the Train set making lots of noises.
Our middle boy who is 2 will come into the room and give us lots of kisses.
And our youngest boy who is 8 months either cries really loud or laugh alot.

At night time my 2 year old wakes my by screaming, he has eczema really bad so he wakes up itchy and probably in pain and just screams my name. Sometimes he wakes me by climbing in my bed and falling asleep on me.
In the morning my husbands pager (hes a firefighter) goes off and my 2 year old turns it up all the way and puts it next to my ear.
If its my three year old then at night time when he wants his sippy cup filled he will bring me his cup and put it next to me..and then go to the fridge and get the milk or water and put it right on my chest so the coldness wakes me up..he thinks its funny.
In the morning when he gets to wake me up..he jumps on me

My son, 2yrs 2mos, wakes me up by walking into our room from his toddler bed, walks over to my side of the bed, sippy cup in tow, says "Mama, MAma, MAMA!!!!" and hits me in the head with his sippy until I sit up and acknowledge that he's in the room and go fill his sippy. Then we HAVE to go watch Toot Toot, OOPS, I mean Thomas. (Stay at home mom, so I NEED A BREAK! LOL)

My guy isn't quite a toddler yet (10 months), but he wakes me by either:
1) Crawling on my face and putting his belly and legs all over it while trying to get over me.
2) "Exploring" my nipples with his razor sharp claws.
3) Rubbing his face on my blanket.
4) Crawling on me / slapping my belly and saying "Dah!! Dah!!" (Dad! Dad!)

Our son is 16 months. We always know he's awake because we can hear him giggling and chatting with his teddy bear over the baby monitor. Generally he transitions from giggling into singing a little song, then...when he decides he is ready to get out of his crib he starts to loudly call "DA-DA!" lol My husband always gets our son up in the mornings :)

I usually wake up with him sleeping on my head or his feet in my back.
If he is awake before me he takes his finger and either opens my eye for me or rubs my head or says " Oh, mom, mom, mom".
If I am really lucky sometimes he will sing me awake and when I wake up he will give me a kiss.
