Just curious what the physical ramifications or advantages would be for someone who had a diet consisting of mostly meat (along with a vitamin supplement)

There is nothing wrong with meat- it contains protein! I am very pro-protein so I don't see that it would be a bad thing. With that said... It's what type of meat and how you are preparing it that is important! Go for lean meats.... fish and poultry are best but even pork is good. If you have to have red meat at least get it lean and avoid the fatty parts of it. Never fry it but grill, bake or broil it. Although it is fine to eat a lot of meat, don't forget that your body also needs fruits and veggies, even it you don't eat a lot, you still need SOME (regarless if you are taking a supplement or not)! You need the fiber and other valuable nutrition F&V will give you that they can't bottle up in a pill.

That would be the Atkin's diet. Research has shown that over time you can have kidney failure. You can do it for a while but you need to have all food groups and lean meats for a healthy diet.
