i mean like i said shes moble and very smart for her age!
i know that most of these beds come with crib like bars on the side to prevent from rolling off , they are also very low to the ground! i personally dont see why i cant but i need some mom to mom advice!please help!:(

It depends on the child. My daughter was in a toddler bed at 13 months, she was ready. She wanted to be a big girl and was just ready..

My son was in his crib until he was just over 2. He wasn't ready.

If you are unsure about it all you can do is try. Set up the toddler bed and have her help pick out the bedding and give it a shot.

Good luck! The worse thing that can happen is that she goes back in the crib for a while.

Great, except wandering around in the middle of the night, choking on things..being mobile and out of the crib alone at night isn't a good idea!! My kids came out at 2 1/2 to 3 years. My 2 1/2 year old grabbed something off the dishwasher and drank it quick, (I was there, and didn't have time to stop him!) and we ended up in the hospital. He's fine, but the situation can be much worse when a 12 month old climbs up on things, unattended, and gets into who-knows-what!!

yes she is still too young, I would wait until at least two because she is mobile and still hasn't really gotten out of the putting their fingers in outlet stage, would you really leave her in a room by herself for more then five minutes if she was awake, as long as the answer is no then its not time for a toddler bed. You want to wait until they are more like children and less like a baby...I would start the big girl bed when she is potty training and/or starts preschool

Well they say a cot is safer because they can't get out and run a muck in the middle of the night and because they can't fall out. Let me just say that as a mother of a little monkey, I found it safer to transfer her to a toddler bed at 14 months because she was trying to scale the bars of the cot and I could see that a fall was imminent. Might I add that she still hasn't tried to get out of bed through the night to get into mischief. If she does wake at all she just cries out to me. It's much easier to settle them too when you can lay down beside them.
