Question

THIS DREAM> It's was like a painting. but slowly moving.
I saw a dark sky with some orange and red clouds. As I looked down I saw three figures standing on what appreared to be small cliffs. just below that I saw people fighting with swords. I was also fighting with a sword and a shield. I heard my name being called and I Looked up because it seemed like it came from above.
When I looked around, I was surrounded by light. It seemed to light up the ground and people around me. Then I defended myself with my sword and my shield, as three warriors attacked at the same time. Then I heard my name called again, twice. I was on one knee holding my shield high deflecting a blow from one of the three. Then I heard my name called again and I woke.
This dream is happening more frequently. I am having difficulty falling asleep after as I try to figure out what's going on. I vibrate after I wake up and as it slows down, I thimk I fall asleep. I Dont feel like there nightmares.

I'd say you've recieved the call from God. You know how priests and nuns say "I heard him calling my name" or "I saw the light" - This may have been your moment.

I'm going to take a stab (no pun intended) and say you don't see yourself becoming a priest or something of the church, right? Yet this has shone through in your dream: You defend yourself with your sword and shield, you feel you want to fight off the call, yet you are surrounded by light.

The fact that it is a reaccuring dream also suggests that God is persistent in that he wants you to answer him.

You sound very lucky. I wish I had the experience you had. To get some personal recognition from God...thats amazing.

I do not know if this will help or not but it does sound like a spiritual dream so here goes. In the LDS church we are taught that the shield is protection from the devils temptations. The sword is the sword of righteousness. It is the way we live and use our God given gifts to help fight the devil and his spirits in the battle for souls. (including our own) We also have several other things like the breast plate and helmet, until we have put on the whole armor of God.

this happens to me, that vibration thing at moments before i sleep
the vibrations come, and im wide awake in my mind
but im paralyzed and then the buzzing in my ears
modern people say an alien is abducting me
ancient people said demons are trying to persaude me
vibration near sleep, then they hold you down and your dream is not much unlike my dreams as a child, repeating dream

and when i was with HIM i was happy, warm, secure,

My guess would be that you have been facing a lot of challenges in your waking life. Have you been "fighting" your way through some problems lately? If so, God/Godess is there to help you. You are not alone! It could also be interpreted as a "Higher Calling" perhaps as a "soldier" in a Ministry of some kind. Just pray about it and I will be praying for you too. Blessings.

It's funny that you never mention God. It sounds to me like you're being called as a solider in the army of the Lord. The being surrounded in light brings heavy indications of the presence of Jesus Christ. You do not say whether or not you are a Christian, you never mention anything regarding God or Jesus yet I get a clear vision of Jesus being involved in all of this. There is always a battle between good and evil, whether it is God calling you for everyday battle or to prepare for the final battle in which God battles evil, Armageddon, it doesn't matter. You are being called by Jesus to join his army. That's the vision that comes to my mind. Good luck on making the right choice.

Ever wondered if maybe it is just a dream?
I have a reoccuring dream about a dinosaur being my pet and then chasing me through the streets in a game of tag.
I don't think it symbolises much as dinosaurs are dead, but i still have it nearly every second day.
Cute dino too, wish it would come true.

It sounds like you are in a Spiritual Battle. Ask the Lord what you are to gain from these dreams so that you can move on. I think that the Lord is preparing you for battle so that you won't be afraid when the Battle comes to you.

I had a dream after reading a phrase in Revelation about the 1000 chosen ones. I was 1001 and couldn't understand why I would be damned to hell with the 5000's. LOL. I know now not to take the Bible "Literally". It can be dangerous. Dreams often reflect your fears, and aspirations.

Most dreams are unexplainable. I don't think every or even most dreams are a message from God. It sounds like you are feeling insecure about something.
