i have chocolate cake and chocolate left over from today when my mom had company, i didn't have any today though. I was wondering, as soon as i get up tomorow and if i eat 1 little square of chocolate and a small peice of cake, is it better than eating it throughout the day???

because i have all day to burn it off?

Eat it earlier in the day, that way you've got all day to burn it off. If you eat it at night time it'll just stay in your tummy and turn to fat.

It would be best to eat it after a meal, the way desert is traditionally eaten. Carbohydrates, particularly refined carbohydrates, have a propensity to cause a serum glucose spike, countered by an insulin spike. Insulin drives glucose into the cells, including fat cells. It is an anabolic hormone.

Probably, the worst thing you could do is have it for breakfast, i.e., break the fast you were on for about twelve hours with sugar. A good time, to have this treat, would be brunch, i.e., a couple of hours after a carbohydrate free breakfast. Steak and eggs, would be a great choice to prepare your body for the carbohydrate assault.

The morning. Because all that calorie from the cake can be burned throughout the day. But if you take at at night it will just go straight to you thighs.

Depends really, do not eat it at all if you are just going to sit on butt for the rest of the day.
If you want it eat it and enjoy it and move on. If you live an active lifestyle then the odd indulgence is not going todo any harm.

Eat it early, because that is when your metabolism is at its highest.
