I dropped my trumpet and I need to repair its bell that was badly bended.

Take it to a repair shop. They have tools the appropriate shape and they have the experience to know how much force to use without making the situation worse.

Yikes. If the dent is too bad then no matter what you do when you pop it, the finish will be crumpled where the bend was. Your best bet is not a do-it-yourself method. Take it to the nearest instrumental/music store and have them give you a quote. Popping a dent is usually cheap, (usually under $60 depending on the trumpet and the depth of the damage,) but you wont get it back to the condition it was in without a re-lacquering.

Good Luck.

You can try to hammer it out but you will probably want to take it to a music shop to get the final dents out.

You may also have some luck with a body man who fixes cars. Dents in metal? Perfect finishes? Who cares if it is a car door or a trumpet?

Is the playing or sound quality affected? Is the instrument insured?

You will need to drop it off at Kenny Zs or Elmens Music Center

Don't fix it......it adds character and history to you instrument and it will not affect the sound.
