i used to be a dancer/bartendar in a club called, "illusions", located in el monte, calif. I heard approx. 10 years later that the owner/my ex-boss, Moe, (can't remember his Iranian last name) was found murdered in the back office with the money still in the safe. How can i find out details? I worked there in the early 1990's. I'm not sure of the date(s)/year(s) he was killed.

Check police reports; check the "morgue" (old newspaper files).

If there's a local paper that covers El Monte (more local than the LA Times), contact that paper and ask for the crime desk or city desk or whatever they have. Ask if anyone was reporting for them 10 years ago who's still around, and if so, ask that person. Bet they'd be glad to help.

What a shock to hear about this all these years later. Hope you find what you need.

El Monte police station or local sheriff's office may have files on this case, be it solved or cold case. If it's the latter, you might offer clues to the killer and bring them to justice for someone's murder.

You can search newspaper archives. Many of them are available on the internet. Also search the State of California Forensics archives. You may have to pay for the information.

So you feel like Christians are more persecuted in America than Muslims? That makes sense. When was the last time we had a Muslim President of the United States? When was the last time we had anything but a Christian or Catholic President of the United States? Must be hard being 90% of America.
