I hate to tell you this, but females spray too. There are low cost clinics. She will come into heat with or without other cats there and yes, she will keep you up for days. It's best to get her spayed good for all of you! All the best;^)

Regardless of whether or not your boys are fixed, your girly is going to yowl her toucas off during her heat. The worst time is during spring and summer months in which she'll go though heat cycles constantly. Meanwhile her being in heat will bring on the possibility of spraying, as well as the possibility of pyometra which will require you to get her fixed immediately, and the possibility of ovarian and uterine cancers. Pretty much every city has a spay/neuter clinic which is much less expensive than going to most regular vets and will make your life much nicer overall. My concern is why do you have her if you're not willing to fork out the cash to get her fixed? If you odn't have the cash to take care of something small like that, then what will happen if something big comes along and she needs emergency surgery? I'm not trying to put you down, but I'm just trying to save you a HUGE headache down the road, because cats can go through heat cycles anywhere from 6 months out of the year to year round, and after a couple of weeks of that stuff you'll be racing to the vet!

Female cats go in and out of heat continually. They yowl and roll on the floor. The 2 neutered boys won't affect this at all. She can also develop uterine infections and mammary tumors when she is older if not fixed, plus she could slip out the door and get bred. There are low cost spay clinics everywhere--ask your local humane society. Most charge around $25.00.

Get your kitten spayed. She will meow and get dramatic during her heats, you will want to put her outside. Please fix her the Humane Societys are filled with kittens they cannot adopt out and they get destroyed, Your other cats are fixed but if she got outside you would not be able to stop conception. Cats are also prone to cancers and infections when they are not neutered and spayed. Do your kitty a favour and have her spayed.

Our female cat went into heat and YES they are really bad! They meow all the time and tend to rub their nasty butt on everyone/everything...We talked to a vet and she said that the only way to make her stop was to have her get prego or spay her. Or she would still go into heat for really long periods at a time...so we had her fixed and it really didnt cost that much. You should call around for the cheapest vet.(Even if your males are fixed the female will still go into heat)

The female will go into heat no matter what - it's like a human cycle of menstruation, you don't have to be having sex for it to happen.
Please get the cat fixed - call your humane society or city shelter and ask them if they do spays, most of them are cheaper than a vet.

Yes, your female cat will still have heat cycles even with neutered cats around. That makes no difference to it.
Just get her fixed when she is old enough. It is worth it and healthier for your pet too. Good luck, God bless

You will find that spending a little money on having her spayed will be well worth it compared to the headaches you'll have if you don't. Spraying is the least of your worries and no they won't keep her satisfies. She'll be looking to get pregnant and than means looking for ways to get outside. Be a responsible pet owner and spay her.

A lot of shelters have low cost spay/neuter clinics - check your phone book and call your local shelter.
But if you can't afford the surgery - how will you afford to take care of any emergencies, illnesses that may arise since you own three cats???

My neutered male "tries" to do his thing to my female. It will not control her heats. Females are very loud and annoying when in heat, see if your city has a low cost spay clinic. I live in a smaller town and they have them a few times each year.
