Can I switch chicken eggs from the nest of a chicken that doesnt go broody to another hens nest? need to know soon hens will start laying this week!

Yes you can. Of course, you need to be sure the hen IS broody, and that the rooster has done his job!! Some of the eggs you put under her may not be fertile. If you have a broody hen - one that sits and does not move when you put your hand under her- collect eggs that have been laid by other hens -you can collect and keep them aside for up to eight days, then take away the ones she is sitting on and replace them with the ones you have collected. This ensures all the fertile eggs will hatch on the same day. If all goes well the chicks will hatch around 18-21 days. Good luck.

Yes you can, just make sure that the hen that you put the eggs under is broody. You should also make sure that the ages were laid about the same time.

Yes, as long as the eggs are laid around the same time. You don't want some hatching much earlier/later than the others. A few days are okay, but a few weeks the younger chicks might not survive.

ok your first question, particular she will have the means to chickens arent the forms of birds which will abandon her eggs if a human touches them, she won't be laying on them because of the fact they do no longer choose it perpetually, additionally shes the mummy who is familiar with what shes questioning, 2d I have not have been given any concept yet i dont think of eggs take too long, 3, particular if shes layed eggs they have been fertilized, and could stay that way, 4 particular they can't tell the version!
