I am interested in a vacation in either Scotland or Ireland. Which is the better vacation and which is the least expensive?
I am primarily interested in the typical "emerald Celtic experience". Thanks.

They both are equally good. I prefer Scotland, overall, but Ireland is definitely a bit cheaper. I'd say that neither is really the "better" vacation, but you'll probably get a little more for your buck in Ireland... but not much more. You can't go wrong with either.

It all depends on how much beer you drink. If you drink alot, go to Scotland. Irish people rarely drink.
