There's no need for faith when you have evidence. And evolution has evidence in abundance.

I am a Christian and I believe that God used evolutionary processes to create/mold us. I am not ashamed of my faith, nor does my "believing in evolution" (which is itself, merely a well-substantiated scientific theory) replace or undermine my faith. There are many others like myself--see the website for the American Scientific Affiliation at www.asa3.org, which is a Christian fellowship for scientists--although we do not as an organization, take any "official" stand on evolution, intelligent design, creationism, etc., you will find many in the organization who share my general viewpoint about Christianity and evolution.

It is not a religion. Is belief in gravity a religion? Here is the definition of religion from the American Heritage Dictionary;
NOUN: 1a. Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.
There is nothing supernatural about evolution. No one believes evolution created the universe. Do some research into what the theory of evolution really is.

Why can't those religious people stop considering everything a religion. Why stop at evolution. Let's make The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox religions. Or how about the different political parties they could be considered religions also because according to you anything humans believe in has to be a religion.

This is a joke, right?
EDIT:
"What is faith? A belief in something that cannot be seen...like evolution."
Oh, I see. So you're saying atomic particles, black holes, electro-magnetic waves, and all of history are based on "faith" because we can not see them.
"Who are you that is so learned in the ways of science?"

I guess you could look at it that way if you look at the definition of religion. Anything can be a religion though. But the whole that it would fall into is there are no grounds for worship. It is not a lifestyle, it is just a shoddy way of trying to figure things out on their own.
EDIT___________________________________________
What "In a Hand Basket" said is partially true but there is more to the definition than that.

I'm not afraid, if it was a religion. You should look up the definition of religion. Your ignorance is showing.

You confuse evidence with faith and being convinced by that selfsame evidence, instead of being persuaded by sly verbosity.
